Privacy policy

Who is responsible
Tickwatt (tickwatt.com) is operated by Useful Things Club LLC, New Mexico, USA (“we”, “us”). For all privacy questions write to [email protected].
No account, no profile
You can use every price page and tool without an account. We do not ask for your name or email address.
Your settings – price zone, language, theme, hourly or 15-minute view, price parts, planner values and price alerts – are stored only in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device.
Hosting and delivery
When you open a page, your browser sends technical data such as IP address, browser type, the requested page and the time. Our hosting provider Hostinger and our network and security provider Cloudflare process this data to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. Server logs are kept for a short time only. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We show ads through Google AdSense, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them and measure them – and, with your consent, to personalise ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
In the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google’s certified consent message asks for your choice first (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, Google shows only non-personalised or limited ads.
You can turn off personalised ads in Google’s Ads Settings or opt out of third-party vendors at aboutads.info. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are used, how visitors find us and which devices they use. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and does not store IP addresses. In the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies are only used after you agree in the consent message. You can also use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Price alerts and offline use
If you allow notifications, your browser shows price alerts while Tickwatt is open in a tab or installed on your home screen. The check runs on your device; no alert data is sent to us.
A service worker keeps the pages and prices you have visited on your device, so the site also works offline.
Transfers outside the EU
Google and Cloudflare may process data in the USA. Both are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply as well.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future via “Privacy settings” in the footer. You can also complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live. To exercise your rights, write to [email protected].
Changes
We update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
